Hi, I'm the founder of Pony Alto.

Pony Alto is a solo practice built on a simple observation: the data tools and infrastructure that help large companies make better decisions are just as valuable for smaller ones — but most data consultancies are set up to serve enterprises, not growing businesses.

I started Pony Alto to change that. My background is in analytics, data transformation, and business intelligence — the layer between raw data and real decisions. I work with small and mid-size businesses to build data infrastructure that's right-sized, practical, and actually gets used.

I work remotely with clients across New York City and the Northeast, and I use modern tools — dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Looker Studio, Metabase, Power BI — to build lean, reliable data stacks that grow with your business.

A few things that matter to how I work.

You own it.

Every engagement ends with a documented handoff. You get everything — the code, the documentation, the context. No lock-in, no dependency on me to keep the lights on.

Practical over perfect.

The right architecture is the one that fits your business now and can grow with you. I build what you need, not what looks impressive in a pitch deck.

Plain language.

Data work has a lot of jargon. I communicate in plain language — with you, in documentation, and in the reports your team reads. If it's not clear, it's not useful.

Right-sized scope.

I scope engagements carefully and don't oversell. If the Data Audit is enough to get you unstuck, that's what I'll recommend — not a full stack build you don't need yet.
